Cheyenne Mountain men's and women's wrestling competed great day 1 of the Colorado State Wrestling tournament. The day was highlighted by Wyatt Boley winning by fall to advance to the state semi finals!

Congrats to the CMHS Speech and Debate Team! CMHS won the debate sweepstakes (again) and had five qualifiers for the national tournament at the regional National Qualifying Speech and Debate competition.

And then there was the varsity boys game. It was incredible to see this group of young men out there to celebrate and play. From a great game to the halftime half-court shot celebration, what an evening! Thank you to our Cheyenne Mountain community, and thank you to the DCC team and fans for being part of such a meaningful and memorable night.

Our CMHS AP Bio students successfully transformed E. coli bacteria by introducing GFP (green fluorescent protein) from jellyfish—causing the bacteria to glow! This exciting, hands-on lab is part of the biotechnology unit with genetic engineering techniques used in medicine.
Colorado State University Pueblo will be at CMHS to visit with students on February 18 @ 1:20 in the cafeteria. Drop by if you're interested in this school.
