The Cheyenne Mountain High School Professional School Counselors adhere to the philosophy that our school counseling program is an essential and integral part of the overall education process. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program that addresses and advocates for academic, career and personal/social development of all students. In collaboration with other educators, families, and the community, Cheyenne Mountain High School counselors facilitate access to support systems that ensure that each student has the opportunity to acquire knowledge and develop skills necessary for success.

Our College & Career Services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:45pm.

Hello! My name is Julie Kutsner and I am the College & Career Counselor for Cheyenne Mountain! I am very excited to continue this position and hope that I can help make a difference in all of our student's lives by assisting them with planning for their futures. I have 11 years experience as a high school counselor and am now fulfilling my dream of being a college & career counselor. I am originally from Brazil and moved to the United States with my family when I was 18 years old. Having the opportunity to learn a new language and immerse into a culture other than the one I grew up in, gave me a deep love for getting to know people from different backgrounds and customs. Portuguese is my original language but I also speak Spanish.
