SOPHOMORES: This exam serves as a practice PSAT.

JUNIORS: This exam serves as your National Merit Status Qualifying Test (NMSQT) and is the ONLY way to earn National Merit status.

In April of each year, all freshmen will take the PSAT 9, all sophomores will take the PSAT 10, and all juniors will take the SAT as the Colorado State Assessment. Students do not need to individually register nor pay for these tests because they are covered by the state for these at-school administrations. The exact testing dates are determined by the state.

We plan to proceed with the administration of these exams, but they may be changed and/or cancelled due to COVID-19 state and local restrictions in effect at the time of testing.

For more information, please see the PSAT & SAT in Colorado Fact Sheet and Taking the SAT: Connecting Colorado Students to Key College Readiness Benefits.
