Student Achievement

In the fall of 2010, the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) released a series of new reports for all schools (school performance reports).  These reports are now at the center of the state's accreditation protocol.

Every school in Colorado is now rated based on the type of school improvement plan the CDE requires.  The plan categories include performance plan, improvement plan, priority improvement plan, or turnaround plan.

While these reports clearly signal a new era of state accountability and accreditation based on a completely new quantitative rating, one thing locally remains the same...  all District 12 schools continue to receive the state's highest ratings and as a result the Cheyenne Mountain School District continues to be accredited with distinction.
