UCCS Mountain Lion Experience Days

October 11: Business (including Sport Management and PGA Golf Management)

November 1: Engineering/Physics/Math

November 8: Science/Health Science

November 22: Nursing

Attendees will meet with faculty and current students, tour campus, and eat in the Roaring Fork Dining Hall. This event is free and registration is required at www.uccs.edu/admissions/mle.

 

UCCS Chancellor's Leadership Class (CLC)

When: Wednesday, November 20, 2019, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Where: UCCS University Hall, Rom 180

Description: The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) would like to encourage students that plan on coming to UCCS to apply for the Chancellor's Leadership Class (CLC) scholarship. CLC is a four-year undergraduate leadership development and community service program at UCCS. The CLC scholarship is one of the premier leadership programs on campus and totals $4,000 annually towards tuition for up to four years. On Wednesday November 20th, 2019, they are hosting a seminar called “A Taste of CLC” and they ask that students rsvp by Friday November 15th at  https://tinyurl.com/taste-of-clc

Students we are looking for...

  1. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  2. All applicants must have at least two years left in college
  3. Leadership experience and community involvement required

Online application consists of Resume and Essays

West Point Admissions Information Meeting

When: Tuesday, November 26, 2019, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Where: Penrose Library - Columbine B Room, 20 N Cascade Ave Colorado Springs, CO 80903
Description: Candidates and parents are invited to attend this informational meeting thAt will feature a Southern Colorado Cadet home fro the Thanksgiving Break. The presentation is designed to help you learn more about West Point including the admissions procedures, academic and athletic programs, cadet life, and career opportunities after graduation. West Point admissions officers and graduates will be available to discuss West Point and answer questions. This meeting will be of interest to all students who desire to know more about West Point and a commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Army. Come see why a popular West Point expression is “Much of the history we teach was made by people we taught.”

West Point is renowned as a historic and distinguished military academy, and a leading, institution of higher education. UCCS College of Engineering Open House and Expo

When: Thursday, January 16, 2020, 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Where: UCCS Engineering Building, 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO

Description: Join the UCCS College of Engineering and Applied Science (EAS) for a glimpse into the real world of engineering and computer science. Watch research and project demonstrations and ask questions of our faculty and student inventors and innovators. All departments will be represented: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Open Labs with Faculty Demos, Degree & Enrollment Information. Parking is free and open to the public. Open house "come and go" event with light refreshments.
