Save the Date: September 3, 2014 College Night for PARENTS of 9th-12th Grades

6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Starting in the CMHS Cafeteria


After a brief welcome in the cafeteria and review of the breakout sessions, parents will choose two breakout sessions to attend from among the four one-hour session offerings.  Breakout session topics will include:  Applying to Public Colleges/Universities, Applying to Private Colleges/Universities, Applying to Community Colleges, and Financial Aid/Scholarship Information.

Save the Date: September 10, 2014 Parent/Student College Application Workshop

7:00 p.m. Starting in the Cafeteria


College admission counselors will lead small groups in a "mock admission session."  Parents and students will have the opportunity to admit, wait list or deny real college admission applications under the guidance of a college admission counselor.  Please send an email to Ruth Ann Fenell, at, or Nancy Poling at, to reserve a space at this workshop.

Colorado ACT

The Colorado ACT will be given to all juniors on April 23rd, 2014.  Students do not need to register or pay for the Colorado ACT.  The Colorado ACT does not include the Plus Writing.  The Colorado ACT scores may be used by students to apply to any college in the country that does NOT require a writing score.  To take the Basic ACT Plus Writing on a National test date, students log on to
