General Information

The CMHS Concert Band will be going to the Colorado High School Activities Association Large Group Festival on Thursday April 19th. A digital copy of the handout is below this message.

Students need to come to school dressed in concert black, attend periods 1 and 2, then meet in the band room (details on handout).  Bring money for Fargo's Pizza!

Parents, I could use more chaperones - let me know if you are available and interested.

The Cheyenne Mountain Music Association is pleased to offer two scholarships ($1000 and $500) to a graduating senior band member who intends to continue playing in college (the recipient doesn't need to major in music, just plan on keeping music part of their life).

Seniors - see Mr. Yonce to receive a Candidate Number, then complete the application via the link below.

Applications are confidential (thus the candidate number from Mr. Yonce, who does not vote on the applicants) and due by Friday April 27th.

See attached flyer - while Summer Band is geared toward elementary and junior high students, high school students are always welcome and appreciated.  In many cases, high school students may be asked to help out!  Contact Mr. Bell at with any questions.
