Dear Students and Parents:

This year, I am excited to be a co-teacher at Cheyenne Mountain High School working with Mr. Barkley.  I am a Master of Arts in Teaching Candidate obtaining my degree in Secondary English Education at Colorado College.  Since I'll be a constant presence in your classroom, I would like to tell you a bit about myself. 

I am a Colorado native raised in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado.  I moved to Colorado Springs to pursue my undergraduate degree at Colorado College.  I majored in English and minored in Education studies, in addition to working as a peer writing tutor in Colorado College's Writing Center.

I began my work towards my Master's degree at Colorado College this past June.  I will spend the first half of this academic year observing Mr. Barkley, co-teaching with him, and slowly taking over his classes.

I'm truly looking forward to becoming involved in the Cheyenne Mountain community this year.  I can already tell that our classes are full of wonderful students.  If you have any questions about me, my teaching style, or my classes, please feel free to contact me any time at Mr. Barkley's extension or by clicking the small envelope next to my name in the right column of this page.
